Sampling: Lindt Ties In Promo With Book Launch
Through Dec. 7, Lindt is giving away samples of its decadent truffles in select cities to coincide with the launch of a new branded book. The book, Lindt Chocolate Passion, features mouth-watering recipes and Lindt chocolate history.

At each location, the Lindt sampling team stops potential consumers and offers them a Lindor Milk Truffle, a coupon and promotional card redeemable at stores where they can meet Ann Czaja, a Lindt master Chocolatier, and buy a copy of the new book.
 
Lindt will be offering up a total of 150,000 truffles in New York City, Chicago, Washington, DC and Baltimore. The truffles are transported in a temperature-controlled environment to maintain quality. The brand picked locations where consumers could easily visit a Lindt store after participating in the sampling program.
 
“The Lindt sampling program is intended to provide consumers with an experiential tasting that highlights the quality and craftsmanship of Lindt chocolate,” Thomas Linemayr, president and ceo for Lindt USA, told Buzz. “To achieve this, sampling of Lindt is key to engage and interface directly with our target audience.”
